The Collected Address book was there … but empty.
I’ve imported it again … but I am not sure whether this is still synced with the Standard Collected Address book or whether this is just a copy of the Standard Collected Address book when I pressed the button.
Je vais plutôt essayer de ne pas reproduire ! 😉
Mais si j’ai plus d’infos et/ou si ça se reproduit, je ne manquerais pas de re-poster.28th September 2017 at 00:58 in reply to: Contacts moved: in AddressBook but gone from CarBook #1199
–> in Cardbook, add new address book, fourth option
I think you meant the 3rd option “Import standard address books”
What about the Collected Addresses book from CardBook: does it get populated when we receive e-mails ?
oui, je synchronise avec un serveur Baikal.27th September 2017 at 18:16 in reply to: Contacts moved: in AddressBook but gone from CarBook #1187
OK, so if I understand correctly : addresses books used in CardBook and in Standard Thunderbird AddressBook are different.
The Contact Tabs extension modifies contact from the books of Standard TB AddressBook … and so, should not be used with CardBook … at least to modify contacts.
Why is the Collected Addresses book is empty in CardBook (and with plenty of addresses in Standard TB AddressBook ?
Is there a way to get the data from Standard TB AddressBook to CardBook ?
Is there a way to disable completely Standard TB AddressBook ?
Thanks.27th September 2017 at 12:19 in reply to: Contacts moved: in AddressBook but gone from CarBook #1178
Investing further :
- there’s nothing in Collected Addresses in CardBook.
- if, in AdressBook application, I move a contact from Collected Addresses to my Personal Addresses, I still can not see it in CardBook.
As I am fairly new to Cardbook, I suppose I’ve missed some thing … but I can not find a way get search results about this.

This is also supported by Baikal (that uses the same underlying library as OwnCloud: sabre/dav). I’ve imported my address book to baikal and now using Cardbook I get the custom names for my contacts telephones : great !
But indeed, it would be nice to be able to specify directly from Cardbook in Thunderbird. For now, I have to modify it, from web interface on the Baikal server. 🙁
Same problem here (Cardbook 19.3, Thunderbird 52.1.1 running on Xubuntu 16.04).

Same problem and changing to Basic authentication type worked fine !
I am really happy with this plugin as the phone numbers are synchronised much better than with Sogo !
Thanks very much for this plugin … I might even use groups again … and restaure birthday dates from my Palm contacts ! ! 😉
