First: Thank you for the nice software. It’s awesome.
- TB 60.6.1 (32 bit)
- Win 10 Pro 64-bit
- cPanel 68.0.39 (Paper Lantern) CardDAV
I have synced my address book and this works with a number of update (I’ve updated phone numbers, birthdays, added categories and created new contacts).
However, if I update e-mail addresses,
- The contact becomes bold
- I sync
- The contact becomes normal again
- My e-mail change update is removed
Any idea what this issue is?

a bold contact is a contact that hasn’t been yet synced (since version 36.2)… so during the sync your contact was correctly synced but it seems your update wasn’t approved by your server… usually this is an issue with the date format… what is the vCard version of your address book ?… otherwise, set the debug mode and increase the CardBook log size (25000) in CardBook preferences, first tab, then repeat your operations and look at the CardBook log (click on the text at the bottom right in CardBook tab) to see your server response…

look at the server response when your modification is pushed (PUT)…
to be clear : your modification is not pushed to the server , right ?

- I am not updating dates (updating birthday dates worked fine)
- vCard version – on CardBook or the server. I am not sure I can see it on the server but Address Book Properties reports it as 3.0
From what I can tell, these are the relevant changes. However I cannot interpret them 🙁
