Synchronization impossible with the server

      Hi,

      I’ve been fighting this issue for some time now hoping it was a syntax issue or something. I even changed NAS in the meantime.

      When synchronizing with my Synology Carddav server I get the error: Synchronization impossible with the server.

      In the past there has been a successful sync. Synchronizing with iOS is no issue.

      Please advice.

      For iOS devices I use the server address: https://externalserveraddress:port/ 

      Setting up a new cardbook results in: unable to validate. Both addresses (iOS and used in Cardbook) are reachable via a Webbrowser.

      Such problems with a Syno are often caused by wrong configuration of the certificate … been there, seen that …
