Sync only contacts with email

I have Cardbook working between Google contacts and Thunderbird.

Is it possible to only sync contacts with an email address?

Not really seeing the usefulness of such a feature – but I guess you must have your reasons …

However, from what I know, it is not possible to sync selectively. Contacts are synced, whatever details they may contain.

Why not create a category for contacts with email-addresses?

Or a separate addressbook alltogether, only for those contacts with an email-address?
