    Hi all.
I’m still doing experiments with Cardbook vs TB standard ABs.
My main goal is to be able to sync only contacts (not lists) with Google.
Actually I’m using GContactSync where I could disable the sync for the lists because of bugs in Google.
My first experiments with Cardbook showed that if I have lists in a standard TB AB moved to Cardbook, then they were rendered/translated as/into contacts when I syc the addressbook with Google contacts.
I was wondering what happens if I decide to trasform lists into categories. Are they exported or not in Google? Is there any tip to create (and use) mailing list or categories in cardbook and avoid their sync with Google contacts, at difference of the contacts which, on the contrary, I need to be synced?
    TIA for any help.

    Hi

categories are lost with Google… lists even if there are shown as contacts in your internet browser are correctly synced between two PCs… so I think, with Google, the best is to use list…

    (sorry for the delay ;O)

You mean that as categories are lost in Google addressbook, as soon as I sync my Cardbook with Google (which loses categories) then I lose categories also in Cardbook?
