How to sync with with Google Contacts?

Hello,

Does the latest version 76.1 installed on Thunderbird 102.0 sync with Google Contacts? How to set it up?
Please help.

Right click (or double click) in the right pane, Choose first entry : “New address book”, then choose remote, enter your gmail address, click on validate, follow the consent screen, then Next till the end, that’s it 🙂

I have noticed that with Thunderbird 102.0.2 (64-bit) on Windows 10 (10.0.19044) and CardBook 81.6, every time I start Thunderbird, all the contacts seem to be downloaded from scratch. Earlier, only edited contacts would resync.

Have you restarted Thunderbird twice after your Cardbook update?

It may be necessary to rule out cache issues.

Yes, restarted Thunderbird twice. Also disabled sync at startup. But it seems to start from scratch every time Thunderbird is started.

your Thunderbird profile seems weird… have you got any issues at Thunderbird startup (CTRL+SHIFT+J) ?

Think the problem started with Cardbook v81.6
