I am new to CardBook.  This seems a simple question but I cannot find the answer.  Display name is currently Firstname Surname, how do I change it to Surname Firstname?

      Thanks

Right-click your addressbook and chose Edit

Under “Miscellaneous” you can configure the Display name to whatever you desire 🙂

Thanks for the reply.  I have now set it to   ({{4}} |)({{2}} |)({{3}} |)  which displays as I want, but it only applies for new or modified entries.  Is there any way to apply it to all existing entries?  I have tried sync and reboot but the display order has not updated

      Cheers

      Mick

      Thanks, that works!

It has raised another question though.  Having run that I now see some entries as normal text and some as bold, they were all normal previously.  I can’t see any obvious distinction between them, what does it mean?

      Thanks

      Mick

As far as I can tell from my own experience, the bold entries of an addressbook haven’t yet synced successfully with the server … you can try launching the sync manually, or wait for the regular sync (depending your own settings).

OK Thanks.  Really like CardBook, just trying to consolidate all my contacts from various sources so I will work through them.

      Thanks for your help

      Mick
