In the release notes for 75.8 it says:

– disabling lists for Google

Does that mean that it will no longer sync Google groups (mailing lists) to Cardbook?  I really hope that isn’t the case.  I use this all the time.

I meant the release notes for 72.8.  I don’t see a way to edit that.

Hi Bill

with the new People API, it wouldn’t possible anymore (Google does not support any more the CardDAV and Contact APIs)…

so the best practice is to use categories. For the email autocompletion when composing an email it’s quite the same !

I am still a bit confused.  I probably didn’t state my question very well.

In version 72.5 my gmail groups are being synced to Cardbook categories.

I was just afraid, based on the release notes, that in version 72.8 this would no longer be possible.  Will I still be able to sync my gmail groups to categories as in version 72.5?
