Creating Contact List

A newb question: I have Cardbook set up OK and I am trying to create a group of contacts to email simultaneously.

I presume this is what is called a list in Cardbook. So I go to my address book and click the New List button, add some emails, give the list a name and click save.

But when I try and find that list, I can’t see it anywhere. What am I doing wrong?

CardBook has categories, which are displayed under the address book name and are like tags, and lists, which are displayed within the contacts list… There are no difference between the categories and the lists when you send an email or in the email autocompletion…

I try to construct the list in the same way. But it appears as as a CONTACT in the contact list (as a group does as well). When I click it for editing it shows up as a CONTACT. No sign of the participants added or of any list properties. What am I doing wrong?
